Terrible room for a grow but this is what i have so far...

So the only place for a veg room I have is an old oil drum room in the basement. Its 13'x7'x8' at the top of the room, and 5' up the left and back walls they have the "old basement" taper to 13'x6' with the oil drum and pipes taking up 5'1"x4'x4' in the back left corner...

the oil drum cant be removed w/o also replacing the whole old furnace ($2000 to upgrade? not right now. we dont even use it because we got nat. gas run to a few room heaters to save cash.) so i put plywood down to span the gap from the drum to the left wall so now its a clone area about 2' from the ceiling, 4' spanning from left wall, 5' from the front wall, and 3' from the back. Then spanning the whole back wall on top of the tapered cement, 1' lower than the clone area i have set up a platform for slightly larger plants to sit on. this covers any wasted space in the room and leaves me with a walk way to tend the plants on the right wall.

In the area between the front wall and the drum i plan veg one of my plant(s) i deem prize pheno to near tree height, while rationing out my slightly smaller plants into the flower room as i go to taste test and get a cycle going, save money/time, and be able to experiment more on the plants(good idea?). i have two long fluoros above the drum, a 8' 150watt 6500k and a 4' 80 watt 5500k and six 32 watt 6500k spirals dispersed amid the mini jungle and plan to get more lighting (any recommendations?) when the wee sprouts i have in there now get bigger and i need to use the lower platform.

there are pieces of thin composite board on hinges attached to the ceiling w foil tape on them enclosing the upper and lower platforms (think upside down L shape up against back left corner) and ceiling with a fan and sulfur burner facing in from the back right corner creating a wind tunnel of sorts when all the composite boards are swung down w/ the seedlings at the far end, eldest nearest the inlet fan.

Any ideas, tips, help, etc. would be greatly appreciated. i know i typed a lot but its relatively rudimentary and totally open to rearranging so fire away. thanks!

I would look into SCROG for your limited height and start flowering sooner if you have a predominately sativa strain as they tend to have longer stems between nodes. That's not a lot of space, if you're scrogging maybe 3 plants, if not maybe 4, but I wouldn't let them veg over a foot. Just my 2 cents; take it with a gram of weed. Expect your plant to double in size during flower.

Edit: A picture would definitely help
