I don't agree. In a dry county or town, you can't buy alcohol, but that doesn't mean you can't legally possess alcohol. I think the ordinance will eventually get struck down and just end up costing the city a lot of money in lawyers fees. It reminds me of when a city on the Front Range (think it was Denver) passed a gun control law that forced hunters on the Eastern Plains to break the city's gun control law as they were driving through the town on their way to the mountains to go hunting. The judge who tried that case ended up siding with the hunters on the Eastern Plains. Greenwood Village has every right to ban dispensaries or 64 pot shops, but they'll soon find out that they can't restrict the flow of legal cannabis as it passes through town in cars, bicycles, etc...i don't really see how this is any different than dry towns..
i know the town over from me you can't consume alcohol, this seems to be pretty much the same thing imvho..
It's not that easy. I-25 passes right through Greenwood Village. Let's say I live in Denver and I decide to take some legal cannabis with me when I drive down to Colorado Springs to visit some friends. Am I supposed to go out of my way and not drive through Greenwood Village because some stupid city council members passed an ordinance that violates my constitutional rights? Bring on the lawsuits.never go there, just dont. save your self some money
Im not an expert but im pretty sure having a red card you agree to having your garden inspected as they wish. Telling them to fuck off will only be asking to get bent over by them. The plant counters are cool if you are and be more likely to little bs slide. Just my. 02. They also don't flash bang patient's every visit either. They want to strictly regulate growing because of "mold and child safety concerns."
dumb assholes
It is like Parker saying they are going to inspect personal grows, lol.
Knock knock, "Can we inspect your grow?"
No, fuck off.
Good luck wasting a bunch of money, GV.
Having your red card doesnt give the law permission to come into your house to inspect....HOWEVER, caregiving for multiple patients does.Im not an expert but im pretty sure having a red card you agree to having your garden inspected as they wish. No one has the right to inspect my grow room.Im not an expert but im pretty sure having a red card you agree to having your garden inspected as they wish. They have a list of people who have red cards. They have no such list for those growing under 64.Does the state have an address list on the books of all the grows and all the growers? If not, how do they know there's a grow to inspect?
Where did you hear that Chef? I haven't seen any mention of submitting driver's license info to the DOR.When it becomes legal to operate or rather to buy from a shoppe wo a red card, id's will have to be copied and sent to the DOR, then when the polezi get behind u and run your plate, show up at your palce cuz your having a party and they get a noise complaint, domestic dispute or something of the like, u pop up as having bought a lil somkie smokie and bing, u guessed it, guilty by defualt. Sound good to everyone?
OK, I wasn't sure. We had a troll on the RI forum saying that Colorado laws are the most progressive in America and the law here sucks. They allow us 12 mature plants per patient here, more than I can fit in my flowering room in its current configuration! But we can only possess 2 1/2 oz. I've heard that sometimes 12 plants will yield more than that, but nobody told that to the hacks who wrote the law.under 64 its 6 plants per person so a couple can have 12 plants!
