I am living in TX now. Its alright I suppose. BBQ is decent, Mexican food should be awesome, still looking so far has been like everywhere else, people are decent, lots of vets and vet services, anything you want is available in a short drive, real busy and commercialized, feels a lot like North FL. to me with less scumbags.
Mehh its ok, not really for me.
Very limited access to the outdoors, everything is private, if you want to hunt you are paying, way too hot, and the weed laws are very very shitty. Oh, and the drinking water is funky as shit! After AK well water this is horrible !
I have lived all over the US. AK, CO or the PNW will be my next destination ASAP. ya'll can keep TX, Im just passing through.
