TGA Pre98 Bubba X Querkle MT Medical Tester

Today I recieved TGA Pre98 Bubba X Querkle to run as a medical test. I am a Montana Medical Cannabis patient and will post progress at relevant stages of development, noting male/female ratio, different phenos, and outcomes. Today, I will place the gear between moist paper towel for germination.


In general, this will be an indoor project, using coir and perlite as the primary medium. A big scoop of well-aged SubCoolesque soil mix will be placed at the bottom 1/4 of each 3 gallon Vegatative grow container. I made this batch early last summer mixing soil, worm castings, bone meal, blood meal, fish emulsion, alfalfa, kelp, bat guano, eggshells, molasses along with a variety of innoculants. I find aging the mix is most productive. Typically, all are sprayed during vegatative growth with an Azamax - Neem mixture as a prophalatic measure.

Once the babies are ready to be flowered, they will be placed in raised beds, be given CO2 enrichment, and brought to fruition under air cooled 600W HPS in a closed system.

I will use Botanicare nutrients, ProBlend Pro (grow or bloom) along with Cal-Mag, Superthrive and will add molasses during the last 4 weeks of flower. Leaf feeding may be employed during the Vegetative stage.

Holy Crap! I never had a chance to get these beans into a paper towel. Normally I soak the new gear for 24 hours in a shot glass then transfer to the paper towel treatment. You can imagine my surprise when after LESS THAN 24 HOURS 10/10 cracked and sprouted tails Put the babies directly into Rapid Root cubes, soaked in 1/2 strength Clonex starting solution and Superthrive. If these thing grow as fast as they cracked, this will be a big winnner.

cool man keep the updates coming, I am a huge fan of querkle and was bummed when Black D didn't make it. Hopefully the bubba Q will come out DANK. Im waiting on some Bean Boyz Genetics right now.

The rapid rate of growth continues. The little babies have popped their heads above the surface, 10/10 still going strong. Will post pics when 1st set of leaves are developed. Running this side by side with Cali Connection Chem Valley Kush. The CVK is growing at about half the rate, and took more than twice as long to germ, but also got 10/10. In the past, the CVK gave me broad variation in phenos, and have only one keeper cloned that is a very oily and dense with diesel smelling nugs. Looks as if this Subcool gear will outgrow anything I've run for quite some time.

Nice big sky so how come your not gonna grow them outdoors in big pots for the summer thats what i would do if i was you but i guess not everyone is as privleged as some to have a farm to grow on right. a total misconception that every montana person has a farm. I do i guess so but yeah nice im anxious to see what these turn out like i was gonna get some tga seeds but i wanted to have some genetics for my first outdoor grow that i have some expierence with. Good to see a fellow treasure stater on here represent for the treasure state. Im def gonna follow a fellow big skys grow.

I normally choose a couple of strains specifically for outdoors. Last year I did Dr. Greenthumb's Iranian Indica Autoflower, with satisfactory results. The ability to harvest in early September is a factor for me, so I don't anticipate this new hybrid from Sub will fit the bill for my outdoor needs. I may harden them up outdoors for a part of the summer....extending the veg cycle and using the big halide in the sky to full advantage, but will move indoors to finish flower. Just have much more control over humidity and temperature.

Right now I have 7/10 survivors, and they appear very healthy. Will post updated photos shortly.

I do green house grows too. If this tester keeps going like its going then I will throw a couple cuttings into the GH for sure come August.

It's Spring in MT! Sorry for the lack of update, but I've been busy with tomatoes, eggplant, peppers and othe assorted garden duties. The little Pre 98 Bubba X Querkle are doing great, I just need to get them numbered and photographed. Patience is a virtue, but it seems nothing grows fast enough when looking at it every day. That said, these are vigorous and very healthy looking specimens.

Anybody know if these are feminized or regulars?

they are regular, TGA doesnt make fem seeds.

Very cold and wet here in Montana. Not exactly conducive for putting the starts outside, so the little starts are getting shuttled in and out. I'm transplanting to larger pots within the next couple of days.

well just based on the leaves its definitely indica dom lol . cant wait to see what these genetics can produce. a nice purple grape bubba would be such a kick ass strain.

Yes, they appear to be indica dominant. I have a very good feeling that I'll get a pair of keepers -- both a boy and a girl -- to add to the room on a permanent basis. After seeing this take off, I'm definately tempted to take advantage of the current offer out there to get 5 free beans with an order -- both Attitude and HD are making offers --

Big sky i was thinking the same thing so i had to order myself some tga gear to run i didnt get any indica dom strains i guess i wasnt thinking much but im only gonna plant a bean outta each pack to try outside so if at the end of the year and its too cold i wont be out much as i got all sativa dom strains from what the descrption says.

I'm always a bit hesitant to go "all in" on an outdoor project here in MT. Memorial day just passed, and it was cold, rainy, nighttime temps in the mid-30's. Snow above 3700' elevation! It's OK when the plants are little, but if we have that kind of turn of weather in September it could be disaster for a harvest.


Seems like a good outdoor choice is a strain guaranteed to come in around Sept. 1. Last year I did Dr. Greenthumb's Iranian Indica and it performed well with a harvest very early. Not sure if TGA has anything to fit the bill. I'll leave my outdoor plants in big pots and move inside if necessary.

Yeah there looking good bigsky i just ordered another order from the tude and this time i got 5 packs of ripped bubba and Qush both indica dom strains and i got a 5 pack of spacebomb with the promo. I hear you on going all out up here in the sticks on the outdoor grow. Im either going to be a hero or a zero. I have some autoflowers that i planted that are already flowering i gotta pop the rest in the next week or so. What was the yield like on the Dr greenthumb autoflower. I got some Matanuska TF from him and ive only grown out two one male and one female. I thought the strain was indica dom but the matanuska girl was def sativa dom with a big stretch. I kinda Inbread in with its brother lol that was more indica now i have like 200+ seeds i did that with a clone not the lady i budded. Gonna throw them all over the place side of roads, streams, railroad tracks wherever.

and I wont be out there with synthetic nutes feeding them bad for mother earth just let them grow in there habitat some of the soil in the right places looks like it doesnt need any nutes its all black and organic especially some of the stuff down by the rivers and streams.
