The big grow scheme

I've been growing indoors for about a year or so now, with okay results. The other day me and a couple friends of mine that also grow, came up with an idea to do it big next outdoor grow season. We have an unlimited source of bubba kush clones. Our goal is simply to have a yearlong supply for each of us come harvest time. I have never grown outside before, but I don't want to halfass it and be disappointed in the results. I need to know what supplies I should be getting during the winter months. And also, how do you guys pick your grow spots? I could easily hide a couple plants, but we want to do about 70 or so. Any input is welcome.

you want LOTS of sun. basically sun = bud. Get out there right now and scout out a spot that gets full sun all day this late in the year. If you can get 10 hours of direct sun all year round at least you only need a few plants. This is how people can get the 5+ pounds per plant harvests.

...look for a place with lush vegetation along a creek. Somewhere that weed size plants are growing very well and dark green. As close to the garden of Eden in appearance as you can find. Plan on visiting your plants once a week to re-apply deer/rabbit repellant as well as insecticide. keep the appearance of the plants natural. don't use twisty ties, don't use feed lines or buckets/bags. fertilize with chemical fertilizer as needed with water in a canteen from the creek. location, location, location - it's the hardest thing to find. don't visit them more than once a week if you can help it.

Far too many variables to describe all in one go. Really depends on what your after. (yield target). Then how well will you look after them, and on and on and on........could be the difference in growing 15 (done well) and 70 not so well. Less can be more and alot safer as well. Sorry to say my dear friend but it will likely cost you 2-3 yrs of outdoor experience to really get the grasp of how things can go from year to year. Outdoor is alot of fun, but can be a real battle. Safest thing to do is give it a whirl with all you know and can learn from now until then. Lowering your expectations also helps. Be content and proud of whatever your final yield is, and know it will be better the next season......:)

Good advise from bgoodeh....Take what you know and give it a try. Do your best to obviously get enough light....more light=bigger and more dense bud and fertilize. Find a remote location so it doesn't get stumbled upon accidently. That's about it.
I prefer corn fields myself....prefertilized and plenty of sunlight.

The problem really isn't growing 70+ plants. The problem is where are you going to dry 70+ plants.. Thats alot of ganja. Thats shit is going to stink from a mile away. And if your growing in ground thats even more ganja... Unless you have a couple acres of gated/fenced private property, dont even do it...Thats serious jail time kid.

I'm with you.. me and my buddy are gonna grow big next year.. but I think 70 is more than anybody can handle.. there's so much that can go wrong and thats alot to lose.. we're going with ten outdoors in one spot, ten in another.. year after that we'll go 20 and so on and so on... start small and learn from that... I think you're jumping off into the deep without a swimming lesson and no life preserve.. but if you do let me know how it turns out
