Hello budbro..
My take on this is, the republicans weren't totally against the ACA from the start. Like the no pre conditions and some other points of the ACA..I am a conservative person that for the most part votes for republicans and I am not against everything in the ACA..I am against the Dems thinking they know whats best for everybody weather they like it or not. I am against the Dems being in such a hurry that they admitted they didn't read the law and passed it like they were kids in a sand box...I could go on but all that matters now is that all the suckers that voted for BarryO need to sign up and put their money where there mouth is..
Many will choose pay a small penalty instead of signing up.

She said that after all the negative attention, WE can read it for ourselves after it is passed. WHEN IT IS PASSED AS A LAW, THEN IT IS REAL.
That was all that was said, and I posted the video, and it was Fox News the de-re-screwed it, that very day, and you swallowed their lie.
So, here we face facts or are made to.
Talk about swallowing a lie. Any way you read into her statement, Nancy Pelosi says, "we have to pass the bill so you can see what's in it"
And that's exactly the way they planned it, they understood that if the public new what was in it, they'd never go got it.
So they had to pull a fast one on the House just to get it to a vote in the senate, they essentially bypassed the branch of government that is responsible to introduce the bill.
Obama and the democrats ran on being the most transparent administration, "they will not be negotiating behind close doors." They made a promise to bring all parties together and broadcast negotiations on CSPAN so the American people can see what those choices are.
All of which are lies that no one can refute, so who's doing all the swallowing?

Romney didn't veto a bunch of provisions in the ACA and get overridden by an overwhelmingly Democrat legislature.
Even speed readers were not capable of reading the entire bill in the amount of time alloted prior to the vote.

it's kind of silly to pay a penalty when you can pay for health..with a penalty you get nothing..your dollar will go a lot farther purchasing an inexpensive policy.

All I care about is the Obama voters putting their money where their mouths are..So I don't end up paying more than I was a short time ago..If healthy people don't sign up I will more than likely be fucked next year...imo.

So what is the lie? If I swallowed anything it had to be something good..Is it what Nancy said was a lie, or just fox news in general?
The penalty is like $500 a year, to get healthcare you have to pay your deductible first, which is like $5,000 a year for many poor people, plus the premium of another $6,000 or so per year.
Hope they are using $11,000 of healthcare per year, otherwise they are on the losing end.
I think it would be cheaper to pay the fine, not get sick or hurt, and pocket that money.
44% of all Americans have less than $6,000 in savings.
