The Christmas thread

Christmas has always been one of my favorite times of year. I Love the holiday spirit it brings, looking at the lights, and the smell of the Christmas tree. What's your favorite thing about Christmas time?

P.S. if you don't like Christmas time or you Don't celebrate it, please dont make any comments about how you don't like Christmas. I am not religious, but I enjoy Christmas time just because its a cheerful time of year.

i like that there are loads of xmas threads.

i view christmas as a personal and family tradition which happens to coincide with the christian festival. i'm not christian either and i highly doubt that jebus was divine.

but i sure do love the tree and all the sparkly stuff and the food and the excuse for boozing...perfect lead up to hogmanay (new year's eve)
