What up all...
Every once in a while I try an edible becuase I would like to give my lungs a rest and I would like to experience the difference in the high.
Unfortunately I had never gotten high from an edible. Until now.
I wanted to know how strong you can make butter, so made two batches.
The recipes are as follows;
1. 1 pound butter to 2 ounces of small bud and sugar leaf trimmings.
2. 1 pound butter to 3 ounces, small bud and leaf + 5 gram of kief.
I put the butter in the saucepan and melted it on a higher setting. At the first sign of it boiling I reduced the heat to a simmer. I literally watched the butter and turned it down incrementally until the bubbles in the bottom of the sauce pan stopped. I then put the bud in and stirred it. With the second recipe I had to add the trimmings slow and wait for the bud to absorb the butter, 3 ounces is about as much as you can fit in the 1 pound of butter.
After the bud/trim is in, I let it sit on low for an hour, stirring every couple minutes.
After an hour I scooped about a third of the mess out and put it onto a piece of cheese clothe that I put in a calendar/strainer. I smashed the blob down in the strainer with a spoon to get a bunch of butter out, then I squeezed the rest of the butter out of the clothe and bud by hand. I repeated this step until all the butter was out of the pan. Then stuck it in the fridge to cool and solidify.
I took the weaker of the two and made a batch of brownies and for the first time, I was LIT, giggling like a school girl...
