Definitely not the dumbest question ever--many plants do have an average size--but not so much for the maryjane.
Cannabis size has many variables, here are a few: strain, available root space, size when forced to flower, what, how much and how often they are fed, wattage/lumens and proximity to light source, etc.
Some strains nowadays are advertised for compact grows.
Typically a plant can double to triple in size when forced to flower--but that is not a rule--some barely grow at all and some turn into giants--just gotta to get to know your strain.
Not very helpful at all, I know--but it is what it is. Seed banks also provide info on average size of certain strains. You'll have to do lil homework.
