The first Presidential debate

I think it is worth noting that TRUMP! is about in the same position vis a vis Hillary as Romney was with Obama just before the first debate.

I suspect that this week will be TRUMP!'s highest point as well.

TRUMP! will have a hard time tomorrow night. He has nowhere to hide. I suspect he will not throttle back on his ever increasing lies and will finally be held accountable for them. I don't expect it to change the opinions of his coterie of racists - but i do expect it to discredit him with enough of the voters to make a difference on election day.

I would be shocked if there was any clear verdict about who won in the immediate aftermath. TRUMP! could literally poop on stage and the shrill voices of his supporters will still be here tomorrow night saying how fab, brave, independant and insightful he is. But i do think tomorrow may be his Waterloo in the final analysis.

You have a lot more faith in the system than I do. The bar has been set so ridiculously low for this clown that just standing upright for 90 minutes in his case allows him to "appear presidential". Take the the meeting with the Mexican president for example. People would still be patting him on the back for that one had he not immediately followed it up with the klan rally in Arizona later that same night.

Yeah. I pity these poor fuckers (TRUMP! supporters). I pity the country. It will take decades to get over this if we even try to. I will spend the rest of my life feeling on edge because of the mendacity they have shown im this election.

I think that the soul of the Republican Party is irredeemable at this point but they will continue to hide behind the corpses of Lincoln and Reagan - it is the only play they have left. In doing so, they will be assured of 40% of the vote. These are sad times.

Clinton will try to upset.

It'll seem a tie, but at the end of the day Trump will see the bump in poll because ratings..must create cliffhanger.

Trump will show just how unqualified he really is tomorrow. Clinton will make him look like the fool he is. Only idiot Trump supporters think otherwise. This is not the primaries, you have to actually know something when the country is watching .

Will Lester Holt call him on his bullshit? Chris Wallace already said that he wouldn't. Trump has gotten this far precisely because of that fact that no one calls him on his bullshit. It's actually quite fascinating to watch.
