it's a good stoner show..
half hour too, so as to appeal to us afflicted with shortened attention spans
Another good classic is "carnival" for a lil more darker type of show
HBO kicks ass for their shows..

Just go read the comic if you haven't already.
Show is OK, and I am in love with Ruth Negga, but it falls very, very AMC-style flat for me. Largely because of the source material and it being so quickly read after Kerouac in my formative years. I'm amazingly lucky I never owned a fedora or started a youtube or livejournal page of my thoughts when I was younger. Dodged that self-indulgent bullet Matrix style.

yea, widely regarded as the best tv crime drama ever
HBO is the best, deadwood (a lil wordy but well written), sopranos (duh), the wire (duh), Oz was a great show, if you can get past the frequent rape scenes (J.K Simmons was HORRIFYING in that) but almost all their small shows were good too, and to a degree showtime too. Dexter is an all time fav (kinda ruined it a lil the last two seasons though)
"united states of tara" is a vastly under-rated show
I had back surgery like 10 yrs ago, so the oldschool shows I watched the bejesus out of..
Man, I went on like a whole WEEK binge of Dexter.. good shit
I never watched TV much, so when I was down from my neuro-surgery I was sorta "forced" to, but it turned out all right, shit I even binge-watched the entire series of "lost"
what a fucking waste of time THAT was...

I recently binge watched the US version of Shameless. Reminded me of a former buddy.
Good show.

Interesting first episdoe. Definitely have to be high to fully get feel this kind of movie. But, if you're not stoned, it'll make you feel like you are. Beginning was a little cliché, but ending made it worth it, lookforward to rest of series. Great cinematophraphy, a lil bit like Terintino
