The Infamous male or female question :)

hello RIU, this is my very first post!! ive been doing a lot of reading on whats male and female. I understand about the sacks and pistols, my plant seems to have both... Now i have NOT switched my lights over to 12/12 yet but im going to within the week...before i did that i wanted to see if anyone could confirm my suspicion?

(truth be told this plant was just an experiment and its all worked out well so far lol)

see i thought that right away too, but im not sure if pistols will shoot out of there?? or more sacks are going to form?

thats how all my plants look before flowering. I cant tell the difference when still in veg but ive heard there are ways you can tell, im not sure tho

Those nodes you see is where the sex will appear, iirc. Not sure about that..... But to answer your question, I don't see any signs of male or female yet.

Like i said im going to start 12/12 within the week so i guess that will really determine whats going on with it.. I was just hoping i could avoid wasted time on flowering a male plant lol

I'm on my first indoor grow so take that into consideration. I say that there's no way to tell yet.

I had 2 plants on day 12 of flower that showed bumps right before going into flower. I swore they were male but some of the members here said to ride it out for a few days. As difficult as it was, I w a i t e d. Sure enough, one of the plants got hairy after 6 more days. The other never got hairy. It died as there wasn't enough room for all the plants in the grow room plus the extra junk in there.

Patience is a difficult but it's part of the zen of growing ganja.
