The Marijuana War IS NOT over

Bill Mahr recently said in an interview with rolling stones that he believes that the war on marijuana is over. We are here to show that he is wrong and we are making a documentary to prove it. You might of seen my other post with our indiegogo campaign kickoff. This is our new video of Jerry Lee Duval, who didn't take a plea bargain, turned himself into a medical prison on June 11th, 2013. He is serving a ten year sentence for being a medical marijuana patient. His son Jeremy Duval is currently serving his five year sentence. Please pass it around and get the word out to everyone that the Marijuan War IS NOT over by any means. Also, visit our campaign page if you would like to help and get involved. You can find us on facebook and Twitter. Check us out!

This article says he was convicted of growing 100+ plants. It also says the Duvals maintain that they were legal MMJ distributors. It's not right putting them in prison. The war isn't over for sure. One thing that will certainly put a bullseye target on you in the feds eyes is if you are supplying others as well as mandatory federal sentencing guidelines for anyone caught growing 99+ plants.

If you are growing that kind of number and supplying 20 people, you are going to make yourself a target of the DEA much faster than if you were just growing 12 plants for your own medical use which Michigan allows a 12 plant MMJ grow. We're not yet at the point where a home grower can grow that much weight for profit, even MMJ in a MMJ state and be safe from arrest by the feds. The govt. is starting to crackdown hard again on distributors and dispensaries. It's going to be interesting on what action the feds take against Washington and Colorado when businesses start selling herb recreationally.

I disagree with the Duvals being in prison though their situation in all likelihood , would not have made them targets had they only grew to supply themselves and stayed within the 12 plant count. I think people should support and call for their release but also others who grow for distribution should realize that the feds are turning up the heat on distributors and dispensaries because of Washington and Colorado's recreational bills.

2014 will be very interesting when recreational sales get in full swing.

Thank you "PuffPuffPassBitch," "TreeofLiberty," and "Iceman Q" for your input and support. We are working hard to make this documentary so we can shed light on the wrongful prosecutions the DEA has been making. We already have 1,000 signatures out of 25,000 for the pardon for Jerry Lee Duval and over 4,000 views on our kickoff campaign video. We hope to raise $25,000 so that we will be able to hire a good film crew, equipment, and travel costs so that we can interview people that were wrongfully prosecuted for medical marijuana. If any of you would like to contribute any ideas, get involved, or if you know anyone that was wrongfully prosecuted and they want their story to be heard, shoot us an email. Here's the petition if you guys would like to sign it or pass it on. Thanks again for your time and support.

k signed the petition for this cause wish i could help out with some cash flow for your doc. but with only having no income right now its hard just to put food on the table good luck with the doc. i have some ideas for a MJ doc. but doesn't have to do with wrongful prosecutions

good, i hope people learn to keep their mouths shut and their windows blacked out permanently. you want this legal stuff to go threw, find somewhere else. WA has a 15% tax, thats .15, on pot. booze .05-.08 . keep it illegal and find a better dealer. 52 dollars in taxes go to government for weed, fuck that. the war aint over. it is for those who find people who never want ot deal with cops. yeah that means giving up the party scene, giving up the gangsters, giving up the ghetto people. But to make sure you dont get arrested is a good thing and those others are with the sacrifice to get it done.

Shit I saw way worse persecution back in the 70s. like guys offered 5 years prison or 3 years in the service to be
