Ok, I am an 80% true organic grower (not organic nutes - more like chicken droppings, castings, multch ect. True organic, I always say mother nature does not come in a bottle.
On occasions I will supplement my natural organics with Miracle Grow basic products. Here is my testimonial:
I had a neighbor that had their plant in a small pot outside their house. It looked horrible and in fact it was embarrasingly dead. Well almost. I dug a hole in my organic garden (veggies, fruits, you name it its there) I have about 6 inches of dark rich soil, below that the well known bedrock/red mud dirt, sounds like a funny mix. Its what mother nature put there and seems to take to roots very nicely.
I let that plant sit a few days in the new home without touching it. Of course it didnt change that much. Then I dosed it up with my normal specially measured blend of MG Bloom Booster to match my soil content, I added a teaspoon of epson salt to the gallon and the second picture is approximately 3-5 days later.
I know what your thinking, the organic soil of my garden fed it, right? Well that would be true if I had put fresh soil into the hole, it was just what was there from last year. In my opinion I agree with MG shouldnt be the sole product to grow good plants(any plant) neither should a bottled chem nute. I know its supposed to be all natural, BUT Mother nature doesnt come in a bottle, and should be free.
Organic growing is not for the lazy pothead, it takes a lot of work. I have been gardening since I was 10 years old, I am 33 now. My father always used MG while keeping a great true organic soil as a base. Thats why people turn to the bottled nutes, they work but does not produce a plant like mother nature. I can grow a zuchinii that melts in your mouth like butter.
