I thought it was Bayer that produced the chemical.

It was, originally. The US gov't contracted Dow and Monsanto during the 60's. Interestingly Dow produced much more AO than Monsanto, but nowadays Monsanto gets the "glory" and Dow is largely forgotten

If anyone fell for the Phylos bio cannabis genetics scam you helped Monsanto screw the cannabis community. The head breeder for Phylos is John Mcferson, he's known for creating Monsantos version of BT corn.
