A question to anyone who is confident of the answer, which lineage, strain and type (indica or sativa) handles the most light?

I might guess that many would guess which is absolutely cool because it's nice to connect but if your doing that or leaving a comment please at least let me know that it's more a guess or talk than a straight up 'heres the answer'.

I could liken it to a sort of situation where a sativa grows good in a strong light that the indica fucks up and has problems coping with or the other way round scenario.

I don't know but love to hear back from any that do, please don't recommend some exotic hard as Larry bush type wild ass 1 million days to flower strain rather something that's more realistic in terms of growing if you go as far as to name some strains.

Thanks for the replys or fucks sake why did everyone ignore me (just put both in since im not sure if this is a good question or not)

I would figure any landrace African sativas and indicas would handle light well, mid to South Africa is near equatorial region. Some of the research I’ve done on landrace African strains resulted in finding fast flowering indicas. Durban poison originates from southeast Africa and is known to handle high heat/light fairly well! Good luck sir!

Also, if choosing a strain for speed that can handle light, stay away from those normally grown in tropical regions as they may take forever to flower out. Durban comes from the tropic belt... well, edge of tropic belt but has grown for generations in harsh conditions that has forced it to cope with the high heat and light! Nimbin comes to mind as well. No Asian thai! No Jamaican! No Hawaiian! Unless you have 6 months...

You want to know which strain handles the most light, but you don't want the exact answer that you're looking for? Makes sense. Equatorial landrace Sativas can "handle" the most light and are the least sensitive to higher temperatures. And yes, they all take a long time to flower. But why do you care about whether or not a plant can "handle" the most light? Are you saying you want a high production strain? Because, people can certainly recommend plenty of those-production is one of the most bred traits over the last 30 years to the exclusion of anything except high THC level.

Some types really seem to crap out nearer the lights and some seem to handle it better. Really just thinking about what will work best if they grow too close to the lights.

Durban poison seems like a good choice as mentioned so maybe a good starting point for a sativa.

I guess that's what maybe I'm seeing, sativa type strains are a little more resilient to light than maybe a kush or indica.
