The odor sok as a filter

So i bought this odor sok, (first time grow) to filter the air leaving my house. And now i am in week five of flowering and i can faintly smell it outside.

Has anyone ever used this before? What were your results. I am trying to decided whether i should just go buy a can filter.

I have a feeling that my humidity is playing a factor. I was told by the guy at my local hydro hobby that it doesn't work that great in high humidity. At that time my humidity was quite low, but i have been beefing it up as i have been making the climate more apealing the the ladies.

Anyway, let me know.

One more question.

For the people using other filters. Can you smell anything leaving you grow area? What type of filters are you using.

HA! yeah maybe a little. I probably should have sprung for the can filter in the first place.

Actually i had a thought last night. It might be because im using a squirrel blower and because its open on both sides, i am thinking that it is sucking a little bit of that ambient air out and drawing it out with the filtered air. Today i will mount it inside a box and see how it does then.

A Phat filter should do the trick. Also you could make an odor bucket with a five gallon bucket with a small fan and odor neutralizer. How is your exhaust ducted? lights-ducted or not?

huh interesting. I think that for the 100 bux its going to cost me to get that muffin fan i will just buy a can filter. i looked at one today. I made some changes to my blower so it is much more efficient. My light isn't vented. so i need lots of air movement.

the can filter is the best. you can use an 8 dollar fan from walmart that drops tightly in the 5 gallon bucket for the odor bucket.

Lowes has some bulk carbon prefilter material for 10 dollars, its enough for several changes. I put it in my air purifier and in a air conditioner. If either one is running it kills almost all the oder in the room.
It could be adapted any number of ways to make an effective carbon srubber on the cheap.
I am very impressed how it takes all the odors away.
