The Pot Father?

Has anyone ever heard of these guys? In Nirvana's newest email they talk about them.

Never heard of these guys. This is what they have to say about themselves:

About the Potfather
We could tell you all there is to know about the Potfather. But then - wait for it - we'd have to kill you.

Suffice to say that we are a team of two dedicated breeders on a mission to improve and stabilize the classic strains of cannabis. We took the secret clones, best strains and fabled genetics of Sensi, Serious Seeds, Positronics, Dutch Passion, Soma Seeds and others, then we made them more potent, more resilient, and more productive.
So those are all Dutch companies, implying that these guys are based in Holland.

Maybe their lines are good, maybe not. Like with all these new companies, time will tell. At roughly $54-65 US dollar equivalent per pack, they're not asking for "crazy" money here, but the lines aren't super-cheap either.

But I'll say that nobody comes out of nowhere with 12 great lines they're worked themselves. It takes too much time and work to come up with great lines for that to be true. So these guys have either been doing this underground for a LONG time, or most/all of their lines probably aren't exceptional.

There are a couple of things on that site that rub me the wrong way.

-If their genetics are so good, why did they feel the need to copy Cali Connection's "Godfather" marketing schtick? Its not that I feel bad for CC (they ripped it off the "Godfather" thing too), but this is just a lazy approach. Why couldn't they develop their own unique brand identity, especially if their lines are so good? If you take a look through their catalog, at least a few of their lines are just old "standbys" with new names: Mama Corleone is White Widow, one of them is just an inbred Jack Herer, and another is a Skunk x NL.

-What's with the "we could tell you, but then we'd have to kill you" nonsense? I can see wanting to remain anonymous, but I think that's a lot less important/necessary in today's world of 'rock star' breeders and legalized weed.

-The reviews on their site are moderated. That's a two edged sword. I can see moderating these things, because when you leave open review ability on the internet, all kinds of nuts may come and post all sort of random stuff, but its hard to trust moderated reviews, because how do we know bad ones aren't edited or deleted?

-Pete Clemenze is the result of a multiple cross which combines the world’s best Mango clones. . . Pete Clemenze breeds true, and has been used by many seed companies to produce award-winning hybrids;
For this to be truly inbred ("true breeding"), they'd have had to have worked this line for at least 4 years. Which are the "worlds best" mango clones that they used here? Which "award winning" hybrids have used this line as a parent? Maybe there is something there, but this whole story is shaky.

-I can see (maybe) omitting yields and even cannabinoid contents, on these lines, but how about listing FLOWERING times? I don't think that's too much to ask and that info is absent from most of their lines.
