When I first got into this (growing shrooms) I already had one normal size pressure cooker. I soon learned that only being able to pressure cook 3 pint jars at a time was super time consuming and took all fucking day when I wanted to run a whole case of jars.
I decided I would go to a few of the second hand stores in my area to see if I could find some more pressure cookers since thats where I got my first one. I ended up finding 2 more that I could do 3 jars in each. For about $10 a pressure cooker you couldn't beat that price.
Once I got my first harvest I got a 41qt American pressure canner which I can do 21 qt jars in so that cut down drastically on the amount of time it took to make jars.
For some reason I never got around to buying a dehydrator so today I went around and found one for $8 at the thrift store. Got a nice pot also.
So if your broke or wanna save some money before going all in on equipment, try looking at the thrift stores. They also have some bad ass cook ware for cheap so even if you don't find what your looking for, you can usually find somthing thats worth blowing your money on.
