So it turns out my girlfriends best friend thinks the service industry is for losers, too! She works retail part time at Borders, and is gonna be out of a job soon due to the recent buy out...I suggested she become a waitress at some fancy gig, since they pull 300+ a night in tips sometimes...But she was disgusted by the idea...I guess some people are born Princes, and others Paupers...

Right on, anyone who is self made, takes care of their own and gives love and respect to those around them is amazing in my book. Thats all I try to do, is make life wonderful for everyone around me, and therefore making my life better in the process.
Here's whats getting chopped today, a little outdoors G13 Labs "NL Auto", hopefully we'll be smoking some homegrown blunts soon!

Just remind your girlfriends best friend that unless she writes the books she sells, or at least binds or prints them, she is doing nothing more than providing a service to book shoppers, in other words at least you make the product that goes out the door inside someones tummy,

Haha, Naw, if food gets sent back, I take it very personally, and i makes me feel horrible to be honest. Then I do whatever I need to do to make that customer happy...Re-cooking them the same dish, a different dish, free drinks or dessert. Above all else, I never fuck with anybody's food...That is pretty low...

I have worked front house and back in the service industry, it is all what you make it to be, front has it harder imo & in some peoples eyes as well they have to put on that smile and take the bs, back has only to take the bs from the front, its good to be a chef that does have a passion for cooking.
