I have never personally had Spider Mites on any of my plants, but I was randomly doing some research and I found the Solution to Spider Mites. A lot of people say to use pesticide soap, or to spray your plants with a strong stream of water, but...

This is Phytoseiulus Persimilis, it eats Spider Mites but won't bite humans or pets. You only need 20 or 30 per plant and they come in packs of thousands, so they can be used Indoors or Outdoors, for 1 plant or for 1,000 plants. And they will get rid of Spider Mites naturally.

the species fallacis, californicus and occidentalis are the better choices though

spent over a grand on predator mites

totally true, however in my experience those aren't the best species
fallacis, occidentalis (for high temps) and the calfornicus are the better species
I've spent over a grand on predator mites...
the most difficult is high day temps, coupled with low night temps.
the reg 2 spot doesn't mind those at all but the predator mites are a little picky.
and if they get pissed off, they simply take off

They are all really picky. Lady bugs will not work on spider mites but aphids and they are picky. Most of the predator mites have all sorts of temp and humidity ranges. They take a while to work too. One poster here say Lace Wings worked for him. Particularly the larvae.

trust me, they'll keep up just fine, the issue is KEEPING them there.
predator mites are way more transient than the 2-spot
the 2-spot just LIVE on the plants, so when you apply the predator mites they eat like 99% of the 2 spots within days, and then they take off, looking for more food.
the problem is the 99% effectiveness of the predator mites leaves juuuuuust a couple 2-spots...
but we allll know what that means..
re-infestation, especially considering that the predator mites are all gone
but the fallacis in particular are a voracious mite
