As I said before I'm on this site everyday. And I would be more than happy to help with giving advice on anything or trying to find the answer. I would like to spawn a breeding ground for learning in a more direct way. If you guys have questions feel free to ask em and I will do my best to answer em. As I'm sure the other veterans will do if they poke their heads in.

Ok so here is a question for soil growers... How do you determine the ph of your soil by measuring runoff??? If i water with ph of 6.5 and runoff is 6... what does that mean the ph of the soil itself is?? This is an important question to me for determining how exactly to modify a soil mix to ABSOLUTE optimum conditions. I want to build my own soil which has a ph of 6.5, water and nutrient solution of 6.5, and this is something that i i have just never understood. I mean i have quite a deep background with aquariums so i understand quite alot about ph, kh, gh and water chemistry in general, but this whole runoff business.... I just dont quite understand what the go is. Thanks in advance

its was at first yes, i did some advertising for it to though, every lster i saw onhere i directed them to the thread and after a few weeks they all knew of it.

i have never checked ph runoff, as long as what your puttin in is the proper ph then it should be fine. you could possibly add lime or oyster shells to stabilize the ph inthe soil

I never really checked the ph of my runoff. Soil seems to be Hard to ph to what you want. But then again it has a very DECOMPOSED Medium too. So honestly I think soil ph goes up Nd down can't really program it. Just stabilize itwith lime or oyster shells like mcpurple said.

You have a long road ahead. Lol maybe if we can get subcool in here he could Answer that question.
Or you might want to look into the super soil.
