the weather is being a downer

so I started way late this year when I put 30 one foot tall clones outside in the first week of july. I wasn't expecting to great of a yield because I started so late but I was hoping for a half ounce on each plant. anyways i went and checked on the plants today for the first time in a few weeks because the last almost 3 weeks its been pissing rain at least every other day. all the buds are only about the size of the end of my thumb and there looks to be maybe an 1/8 of dried bud on each plant. i didn't see sign of flower until the second half of august so im thinking they need to grow at least a few more weeks or maybe even 3. problem is its bin getting cold at night and most of the plants are going purple. i cut one plant that was fully purple and just went ahead and trimmed the buds. didn't hang it or anything and the wet weight is 10.2 grams total on the plant. just wondering what people would do in this situation? i don't want to cut them any earlier then i need to but i don't want to let em go to long and have the weather totally destroy the harvest. the weather network is calling for rain 5 of the next 7 days with an over night low of 0 celius. the plants are up the mountain so its def going to hit -1 or -2 at least a few of the nights.

If there is no wind blowing at night, the -1ºC will be just -1ºC.
From what I read, they can take it.
We have 3-4ºC at night with 20-30 km/h wind, and it´s supposed to be felt like -1 or -2ºC.
You can put fresh manure at the base of the plant for protection.
You may wanna check them daily.

Shit guys. Its 6:45 pm here and we've had a light snowfall for the last hour. Bin cold at night for awhile now but its supposed to warm up again in like a week. My plants need a few more weeks but should I just go cut them tonight because of the snow we just got?
