I feel you & your judgment lol but no worries I don't mind doing this it's no headache cause there is no effort going into this and getting spores or agar is effortless. It's nothing like my first cannabis grow Im doing right now. I have threads on them cause those babies are headaches and I'm doing it by the book or at least listening to the great advice I get from seasoned growers. I have grown 5 strains of psilocybin successfully but not this way on purpose until now! I just want to see if it's possible to throw it in something and walk away. If nothing happens no sweat the theory stands, and I'll post my failures as im doing cause maybe someone wants to try this and will see why not to! And if I can grow them this way I got this forum to let people know it's possible. So any crazy advise im down for with this experiment, im reafy for this to take years of playing with. Also if you know any forms like this where someone has tried that would be great cause I couldn't find any, all you read is it just can't be done but I would love to see if someone made a forum trying this or something similar.
Ok. There is a "tek" for growing morels. It consists of making a thick slury of fresh morels and water. One then sprays this slury over every area and surface that might remotely support the growing parameters of the morel mushroom. People have had some success with this. They simply overwhelm competitors and out compete any other molds or mushrooms. Sometimes they find morels growing in BBQ sets, outdoor fire pits, corn cribs, house foundations, sedge grass stands and the like. I believe if you really want to brute force growing your mushrooms of choice, this might be the way to do it.
It would, however, require a large amount of spores. I don't think an actual slury is necessary but figure several gallons of water and say... five or six grams of spores might sway your odds considerably...Given it is sprayed in the right season and the most likely spots are kept moist and out of direct sunlight.
I'd love to see you do this. My environment is unsuitable even for cubes let alone pans.
