hope the pics work,

Hey, Im a first time grower and about 6 weeks in and today i changed from 18/6 to 12/12. Im using all mix bio bizz soil and the bio bizz nutes, My 2 plants have just got over a over wartering problem (drooping) and have seemed to have developed some yellow patches on one plant and a brown rusty spot on the other. The tips of some leves are curling under also. any idea what might be the problem? are my plants looking ok? what shall i do?
Sorry if the pics arnt to good.

If the pics work, the close up is the yellow patches and the full plant pic is the one with the curly tips and the brown rusty patch on the middle left leave.

thanks guys,

I've read that when you put your plant into flowering the reason you might get yellow spots is because lack of Potassium (which is what your plant needs most during flowering), that happened to mine as well, some yellow spots, but more intense than yours and some of my tips turned brown and curled under, I'm a first timer as well, but what I did for mine was I just flushed it with clean water, then added my plant food according to the instructions. Hope that helps somewhat, Please correct me if I"m wrong.

Well i took the pics just after changing the bulb, so they was there during the end of my veg, they appeared either yesterday or day before, not sure, will change nutes in my next wartering arter flushing if you think that might help?

mine have some spots on them but i havn't been adding any nutes or anything. I'm just letting mine grow out of expert grower potting soil and i stopped adding to it and this is what it is

That "Brown rust colored spot" Is fuckin tiny man, You gonna stop worrying as much. Its a plant man. It aint gonna spontaniously combust on you.

ya, to my knowledge on this, I would say just flush and make sure you knwo what your baby needs when it's put into the flowering stage cuz I mean the more you give it what it needs the better quality your buds will be. But like I said I just recently flushed mine as well cuz of the same problem like I said, and then I let the soil dry out completely before I started watering it with minimal dosage of my nutes. Slowly get your nutes back on track, big mistakes from new growers like myself is over feeding the plant nutes resolving in nutrient burn leaflets. Just give it a shot man, just flush, I mean it wont hurt.

Well, I took your advice and just kept an eye on my plants, I took into consideration that I might be over feeding my plants so I let them dry out completely (as seen in the pics) but the problem seams to be getting worse. It might just be me getting paranoid about my first grow but I want to get it right. I only got the room and time to grow this one crop, then I wont be able to set up for a while and I am sick and tired of buying weed "drug dealers fund terrorism" lol. Check out the pics, might conclude a better diagnosis. Again, sorry about the quality.

Thanks for the input Mr.Budz.

P.S last pic is an overveiw of my babys progress

P.P.S off the point a litte but checked for pre-flowers and both look female (from seed). Not 100% but optamistic, if they are, im 100% lucky , yeeeeehhh lol

ya man, from what I can tell, it looks like the spots on your leaflets are getting a bit bigger. They look really similar to what happened to mine but like I said, I'm also a first timer, so I don't know everything. But the way I got mine to stop doing that, was just by flushing and waiting for the plant to react to it's new moisture. When that was happening to my baby it kinda stopped growing as well, like it slowed down and the new leaves were coming in real slow, but after about 2 days the growth got better. Has that happened to yours? other than that, about how many leaflets on your entire crop have those nasty burns? Cuz I would say about 4 leaves of mine have it, but the new growth coming in after my 2nd flush look healthy, so I"m hoping for the best. But ya man, you shouldn't worry about it that much, just do your research and try to give it your best. I'm really happy with my first try, it's about to go into it's 3rd week of flowering tomorrow.

over feeding is not over watering. check your ph and flush if needed...I personally wouldn't worry too much about one or two spots though bro.

Well, not worrying about the spots too much, will flush my plants just to make sure, I'm not using a PH metre, I age my warter 3-4 days before wartering, its worked fine up to yet. I just cut off the worst leves and did some cropping. I cut off the big ass fucking fan leves that was shadowing the plants new growth, and cut some of the lower branches that wont produce any bud, did take some pics but not got time to upload them, will do it later. first time i've cut my plant and worried that i cut too much, but lots of new veg gettin more light so hope fully it will be better for the plant.

cheers guys,

will try and post pics of my plants mutilation

I would say its better to worry about the spots while theyre small rather then rushing to find out whats wrong when things get serious. Try the flush and feed and tell us what happens after that. $0.02
