think something's wrong....

Hi so...growing a couple of plants . one is an autoflower and the other is a normal photoperiod.using a 250w HPS on Soil. The plants vegged incredibly fast but i think the autoflower stretched a lot. and it was when i switched to 12/12... i was going to only grow the photoperiod one but i decided to put an auto in there...i have the light alwasy around 40cm from the canopy but one day i woke up and the auto was HUGEEEEEE and top colas around 20cm from the light atm....it's week 7 since they popped from dirt, i think the photoperiod one is looking ok but the auto this last week hasn't filled much up...the buds look airy and don't seem like improving in density or size....using Canna Terra Flores as bloom fert with PK 13-14 and PH 6.0-7 or so...i got a split ac keeping temps in the. room at 24c but above the canopy it goes to 30c...maybe that's why it stretched? ...anyway is it too bad or they will dense up still ? should i remove lower buds as well?

yea but i seen some videos of some amzing autos tbh ...looking much fatter at week 7 !!

Not fucked. Just faster to flower than the photoperiod. Gunna get crowded in there

charts say 60 cm but i see they are stretching a lot...without a cooltube you think itsok to leave them at 25 ? atm leaves are already showing sings of heat stress...curling and what not

another thing...they are at week 7 since they sprouted...autos go for 9-10 weeks from sprouting ye? it started flowering at around week 3...so been flowring for 4 weeks ...4 more weeks to go aye?

Post photos with lights off please.
Almost impossible to see what is going on with your plants in this photos.
CMH and some LED are ok to have on for pics, but not MH or HPS.

yes no problem, 60cm would be for a 600w lamp.
theyll always stretch under Hps, because of the red spectrum....
your fan - shall blow the heat away, from the tops which are underneath the lamp

@ 15" with a 250, those poor babies are probably saying shit like... why won't you give us more light, why, why, why??? Seriously, that's even realistically to far away for a uncooled opened hooded 600.

here are some better pics ...auto is a heavy bud from advanced seeds and the other one is CritiKal Bilbo ...they seem super stretched ...i thought HPS dint make them stretch but from what i now read the lack of blue light makes them stretch is that it ?

lights are 40 cm from the canopy or used to...the auto grew so much is now at around 20cm

really sorry about the bad focus i will upload tomorrow more pics...would really like to make these girls FAT . this is like my third grow but previous ones were like. a few years ago and it was outdoors. ...indoors is way harder !!! DAYYYYYYUUUMMMMMM

I agree with the poster who said they mostly need more light. All plants stretch some during the first 2-3 weeks of flowering but those ladies are really reaching. Get your current light closer for sure, the tent will help a little also.

Getting a new light is going to be the best way to take it up a level after you have your tent setup.

From what i have seen around here, 9 or 10 weeks of flowering. Not from seed

on the seed packet it says 60-70 days flowering thas 8-9 weeks plus 3 veg so 11-12 weeks total u reckon? also so u think buds will start to get bigger now ?

They will continue to get bigger. The end is even harder than where you are now because they dont appear to be getting any bigger, but are getting denser.

just came here to say that the prob was too much light...all the top leaves got yellow and curly... the plant stunt.i put them at max 35cm in a biger tent with nice ventilation and temps and they recover in one week ...the damage is done thou but got new ones incoming ! harvest is in 2 weeks btw will have bad yield but yeah never use too much light lols !
