thinking ahead..

okay, this is not my first grow, but to rhyme, it could possibly be my worst grow.


yes i cleaned the shit out of those coffee cans.

firsthand i've seen the sheer determination of plants to grow, even in horrible conditions.....
....and i was running a little low on cash this grow, so i pieced this grow room together.

i've got two fluoro's running here, one is a regular one, the other is a daylight bulb. I used a
setup similar to this on a single plant. Now the plant before this was guaranteed female, but
these seedlings aren't, so i planted two (50/50 or even 35/65 M/F ratio i figured, if
not, i'll make hash wif males) Anyways, so i added a CFL, due to the extra plant.

the plan is that one of these is gonna be a male, but as they get bigger, will i need another light?
Should i ditch the CFL and get another fluoro? what should i do if they are both female?

also, i have a humidifier going slightly.... is this not a firehazard? airborne water and electric lights...


also, my soil is treated compost, trying a natural thing... it's very dark and healthy looking!
did it myself as well.. anyone done this?

Yes you need more daylight 6000k+ as they grow and change it all to 2700k for flower. Best is having at least 4 central fluos in middle and some CFLs all around. Looks like too small space for humidifier probably just put it outside the room where fresh air come in.

thanks man, just bought a few 45w 6500k CFLs and gonna buy more tubes maybe. you are right, it was trial and error with the humidifier and it put out WAY too much mist, so it's gone. Picked up some spider mites but it's clearing up now thanks to some cayenne peppers i boiled and sprayed around mah babies, and they didn't burn up

....just paranoia i guess?
