Hey all. Must read.
Just wanted to share a story that happened to me several weeks back.
I had a 4x7x7 setup going, overloaded with plants, i planted too many lol. There were 13 at the time. In containers ranging from 6 gallons to 2 gallons. plants from 2 feet to 4 feet tall. in FULL flower, i mean they were basically ready or a week from it, some DANK stinky strains like Deep Cheese, Skywalker OG kush, Super lemon haze, white widow, Sour Secret(dank sour d hybrid) and a bunch more....
Anyways, i live in like a town house style setup, and they come once in a while to do maintenance and whatnot. Usually they just need access to one area or another at a time. I do not use ANY smell control for my plants, at all.
They needed access this time to the entire unit. In 24 hours. And they have keys to get in as well so....
I had to get the plants out of the house, figured id bring em to my bro's house about 5 miles away. I have a midsize car. He worked until 1130pm.
My car is and always has been very reliable, starts everytime and never had a single problem with it in the time ive owned it. i LOAD and PACK these plants, which are covered in pieced together black garbage bags, into the car.
Oh ya, its a LONG walk from my unit to the parking lot as well, so that was fun.....reeking all the way.
So they are all loaded. I get in the car and take off. Farily nervouse and paranoid, as this isnt legal here. at all. Fuck i forgot my smokes. Oh well, ill just be brave and stop at the 7-11. Its like 2 minutes from my house, small parking lot, always busy and lit up with a shit ton of parking lot and street lights.
I go grab some smokes and a coffee. I get back in the car and.....NOTHING....no starting, no lights, no nothing. its fuckin dead.
Power windows, and theyre down about an inch, and the smell coming from the car is rank....
Fuck, forgot my cell phone too.
RAN back home, grabbed cell, called someone for an extreme emergency ride.
They show up in a 1990's Nissan sentra.
Now i have to transfer 13 plants, right in front of the 7-11, people in and out all the time, into a car HALF the size of my already packed car. And i had to do this quickly, for obvious reasons. I was having a mini heartattack i think lmao.
It worked out in the end, although after all was said and done and i went back to push the car home, i did get a pretty strange look from the cashier in the store.
NEVER STOP FOR ANYTHING WHEN MOVING WEED PLANTS!!!
Your car will betray you at the worst moment possible.
BTW it was a dead battery in the car, i charged it and its been fine since, its an unidentified one time mystery problem. Must be the universe trying to tell me something
