This is my first grow

This is my first grow and also my first post so be gentle I am not sure if I posted this in the right place if I didn't please let me know. I really would love anyones feedback as this is my first grow. I have done tons of research and this is what I have come up with. It may not be the prettiest but it seems to be working pretty damn good so far...

My Set Up:
1x Green House - Jack Herer - Feminized
1x DNA Genetics - LA Confidential - Feminized
1x Delicious - Cotton Candy - Feminized
1x G13 Labs - Blueberry Gum - Feminized
1x Reserva Privada - Purple Wreck - Feminized
1x Dutch Passion - Strawberry Cough - Feminized
1x Barney's Farm - Violator Kush - Feminized
1x Barney's Farm - Blue Cheese - Feminized
2xBag Seed
3x4x6 closet
light running 24/0
Temp 77 steady
Humidity 45-60
32oz cups
pro mix hx 50%
perlite 25%
worm castings 25%
2 gallon pots.
2 4 foot t5's for seedlings
400w hps ballast
400mh conversion bulb
10inch exuast fan out the roof
4 inch duct fan bringing in cold air
2 oscilating fans
1 Humidifier
1 Ghetto humidifier


I plan on making clones and bringing them outside when it get warmer.

So what do you guys think?

Nice Grow Cab mate, you want to mylar all the insides or paint it white dude, youll get more light bouncing around, also lift the pots up onto a grill or raised platform if you can, makes watering a lot easier, just drag the drip trays out from under them. I have my cold air blowing right under my raised plants in air pots and they love it. Check out my journal... Looking good tho bro!

Thanks a lot man the pictures may have shown different but the walls are painted sort of an off white color would that really matter? and I thought about putting some sort of grill under them and after hearing you say it I definitely will.
I have a couple questions, how far should the light be ? I have read that it should be as close as you can get it without burning the tops I have it at about 12 inches right now I could probably get it closer without harming temps should I? and when should I start feeding them a and b formula? they seem to be doing fine with just filtered water for now any thoughts...

Yo dude, yeah off white is ok, pure white is better, mylar even better and has thermal properties, keeps heat in as well as light. your distance is fine, if you can hold your hand at the tops of your plants under the light without getting burnt then its fine, if your hand gets hot, so will they. Plus during first two weeks if too close they will stunt. I feed doe to chart below as I only use organic Bio Bizz, similar to other feeding schedules tho, have a look,

Thanks for the fast reply's!! so say I buy some mylar will my temps most likely go up? or should I just paint it a pure white to keep the temps the same? and thanks for the feeding chart I think I have that figured out now. O and how long would you say it would be till I can take some clones? sorry for all the questions I just dont really have anyone else to ask about this sort of stuff

Keep it pure white for temp control, your right about temps possibly going up, but I doubt it unless you make that space air tight. 4 weeks at least till clones should be cut. And no worries mate its good to be able to help.

Maybe Ill just go buy some mylar tomorrow painting seems like too much work one last question say I were to cut the top of the plant to clone after 4 weeks I could put that in some root hormone and it could be another mother plant? and the plant I cut it from would just branch out as oppose to grow up and I could technically take more clones(non mother because of no tap root?)from the original cut plant that is now branching out? I just hit a couple bongs so tell me if that makes sense haha.

lol ive just it a big bang spliff aswell, and u know wot? it does makes sense! lol StonedLanguage......Anyhoo if you just take the top (pinch) a few leaves you wont have enough stem to put in root hormone, you gotta take a good bit of the stem, Its best to take cuttings from intersections of fan leaves and the 'new nodes' , just cut of the new node just above the connection it has with the stem...

You have me laughing over here with that StonedLanguage. That picture is better than any other I've been able to find but from what i've read and correct me if im wrong if you take the cutting from the top like in the picture it has a tap root and the plant it was taken from will also not grow any higher just bushier? which makes it a mother plant? and if you take the cutting from the left it doesn't have a tap root just spaghetti roots which doesn't make it a mother plant? and the plant it was taken from will grow taller not bushy

haha gotta love that nyc diesel and thanks again for all your help I really appreciate it! ill post some more pics when I get the mylar and grill set up any thoughts about what or where I could get some sort or plastic drip tray? I live in canada so Homedepot.ca, walmart.ca homehardware.ca are really my only options other than the local hydroponic stores of course.

No worries mate, looking forward to seeing your grow. I use motorcycle oil drip trays for my 20L air pots, they catch the water nicely and have a spout, I used to use just a normal oven tray or roasting tray, that works just aswell.

Alright so I did a little re arranging on the weekend I bought some mylar and I set up a litte drip table let me know what you guys think!

I aslo added some new pics of my little girls!
