So for any Europeans looking for a quiet fan. Check this out.

I bought the 6" version. Its rated at 370m3/ph and 25db. I think 170pa. Costs £139
I have been looking at these for two years but im always dubious of "silent fans" since even a Isomax silenced fan is rated around 50db and is not particularly quiet but cost £300.
So it doesn't have the same airflow rate as some 6" fans, a 6" system air RVK is around a third more airflow with the low airflow version, that has to be taken into account when sizing one up.
But it is incredibly quiet. I have it set up with filter, two 90degree bends and about 6-8m of ducting and it has no problems dealing with that.
On the negative side it comes pre wired to a switch with on/off and high low, which for me isn't ideal as I like to run a variac to control speed. But I am told from the manufacturer that removing the switch at the junction attached to the box I can wire a variac. I shall see when my new digital temp variac arrives.
Anyhow im always looking for low noise when it comes to my grows and this is literally the quietest fan I have ever used or seen in use. There is no hum either.
Thought it might be useful for those building stealthy rooms.
