Those who have had an experience..........

going by lumens, a 200watt CFL light beats out a 70watt HPS. We all know HPS is the ideal light for flowering, but isn't lumens what we want the most of? Or does the HPS just have a spectrum that a CFL cannot obtain? so my main question i guess is whats better?

idk but ill take my 300000 lumens produced by my hps over cfls any day

You are correct in your thinking but what you are missing is that a hps light has more penetrating power. The light from the cfl will be no where near the strength of the hps at lets say 1 foot.
