I am happy with the way I flush at the end of my grow, but it's always good to hear other people's thought and reasoning.
When ready for harvest I do a heavy watering with molasses (unsulfered and 1 tbsp per gal) as my last feeding. I wait 3 days or until dry at the top then pour a gallon in and let it soak into the medium (if it were tea it would be called letting it steep) about 20 min or so. Then come the gallons of water through until runoff is clean. After the flush I turn off the lights (preferably at the normal time they turn off) and keep the plants in total darkness for 36 hours. Then I cut dry cure and smoke.
Let me know what you guys think
