hi people so just some dumb questions what i probably already know the answer to but since ive never done it. ill come ask on here about it.

i just sprouted a seed but i dont actually have a veg aria at the moment not for another 2 weeks or 3 since my flowering plant is taking up the room this time.

i am going to just leave it under 12/12 in my flower room. will it still veg for a bit or will it go right in to the flowering stage and end up all lanky. i imagine the answer is yes

i have seen allot or people doing party cup challenges and read about allot of people going 12/12 from seed and getting one small bud off it. clearly i don't want that. i want it to veg for the full 4 to 5 weeks

by doing this am i going to get stuck needing to let the seed go back to reveg if its only under 12/12 for 2/3 weeks. i know for nurture plants you have to reveg them even if they are only under 12/12 for a few weeks and i have done that several times. i haven't done it with a seed

pretty much want to know how quickly does a seeds hormones change to the flowering stage

Takes at least a month to reach sexual maturity. Just up the light cycle once you've flowered.
i have flipped plants that have only vegged for 2 weeks and they still took 6 more weeks to show the start of flower. i am guessing it must take a minimum of 4 weeks before the plant even cares about light cycle

Right. The soonest I have seen a plant show sex is 4 weeks (on 12/12), give or take a few days.

i like to know what to expect regardless of the outcome. ive grow many plants but my seeds normally take 2 weeks to pop being super old. i recently bought some feminized seeds and i wasn't expecting it to sprout in two days. fresh ish seeds sure do sprout quicker then old ass poor genetic ones do. ill have to remember that for next time
