Thoughts on this dehumidifier?

So, I finally figured out how I'm going to dry my harvest. I cannot bring it in the house. I have a car parked in the garage. I'm going to cut off all the buds/leaves that look like they have THC on them, and put them in some zip lock bags partially opened. I'm then going to put those zip lock bags in the car. The garage is VERY hot, so they should dry very quick. But I need a dehumidifer to make sure they do not mold. I think given the very small space they will be in a very small model is all I need. Will this one do the trick?

Looks like you can plug it in to recharge the batteries, and should last many weeks before running out of juice. Thoughts? Anyone know where to buy the gel or whatever to refill it when it gets too water logged?

Thanks for any help!!!

You might want to get one of those hanging drying racks with netting on the sides instead, hang it from the ceiling. I can't imagine sitting wet bud straight into ziplocks will be good. Even with a dehumidifier the bottoms of the bags have no air flow and could easily get moldy. No chance you can run the ac too, keep the temps down? Hot car might toast em up

You will lose a lot of the weeds myrcene terpene profile drying it in the heat like that. But if you must do it that way, you are better off using a cardboard box and hang the branches in the box using some string, or just trim your buds off the branches and put them directly in the box then seal the box up, but cut a few 4 x 4 squares in the top of the box that you would then tape some type of screen over those 4 x 4 holes. Yeah... I surely wouldn't use any type of plastic bags to dry my weed even if they are left fully open because like Rsawr said, mold will form on your wet buds wherever air cannot circulate freely around those buds!!

If it holds a maximum of 6 oz, and you are putting it in an unsealed environment, it is not enough. I guess I am unsure about how quickly a car exchanges air to the outside, but I would guess you need something significantly more powerful. Especially if there is going to be zero air movement.
