Thrift store magic find.

Hey guys,

It was only priced at 10 dollars but when I plugged it in the lights did not come on. I was not too concerned bout that although the lighting would be nice to use. I was wondering what components I should look for in the bottom part to make sure the system would work with water? Im almost positive it would work and hope to use it to flower a few clones in.. Just want to go back and make sure all components are there and if not could I buy the peices to fix? Maybe fix the lighting as well? Any input is appreciated

for ten bucks I would buy it,you could most likely get parts,the bulbs may be just burned out.I seen one at a flea market for 50 bucks,I went back to get it and it was gone.

BUY IT. You should see if it has an airpump. But if not it doesnt matter, most growers buy an aftermarket airstone setup anyways. 10 bucks! fuckin a!! even if nothing worked, you could get everything you needed to make it work and it would cost less than a new one.

This is where you break out your volt meter or test light and see if you have current to the arm/light stand and the wire to the hood. For ten bucks you could get enough spare parts just by scapping it out to make it worth while. Good deal guy. Why don't I ever run across deals like that?

A hash maker from the 70s called an Isomerizer, in original box with instructions, it OWNED. 20$
A phototron grow cab someone was donating behind the good will store one night, (it still had a huge bud stem in it lol. I swiped it ) 0$.

Good willstores in rich hippy infested areas are incredible.

So you stole from a GoodWill store? Thats so wrong on so many levels, but I like it.

Aerogarden is great for cloning but not so great for entire cycles on it's own. For only $10 grab it. I could put it use, that's for sure

I got it! I sent my lady to get the job done she got it and said some older stoner dude came up to the counter where she put it and started asking about it.. I got very lucky. I let it sit there for two days and luckily when someone did want it it was already mine.. I figure it came from someone getting it maybe as a wedding present or some shit and not really knowing the components of the system (shoulda read the manuel lol) and just let it go to my local thrift store after getting bored with it or not giving a fuck about it. I am very greatful. I also came home and figured out how to get the lights working and they airstone is in the resovoir but it seems to be a little weak. I think I am going to upgrade that, so thanks Victory for the linkage. And it is amazing what you can find at your local thrift stores! .. you just need use your eyes for the hidden treasures .. I very well almost walked by the aerogarden but stopped to look at a vacume and there it was on the bottom shelf ! I hope to flower 6 clone/colas under my 600watt hps along with my soil garden! Very excited to learn aeroponics and very greatful for the find. I guess it was meant to be

6 kinda seems like a lot. But definitely get more light.

Is there anything missing in the reservoir? Also could anybody link me to a good air stone setup that will fit in my AG? I plan to flower a dna lemon skunk, blueberry gum, pineapple express, and pineapple chunk clone for colas. It will either be under a 600w or 400w hps so I am hoping for a nice little yield off this little side project.. Also am very glad to have available clones from a local grower, so I will have 9 strains going total now. I also hope to get a thread up once things are a little more established!

Just regale air stones should work. There not expensive at all.it's hard to tell if you are missing anything you have a different unit than me.
