Does anyone know if RUNTZ BX is detroit runtz x forbidden runtz???? I saw that someone had said detroit runtz was I the runtz bx
Well here is my pack with no Detroit Runtz in it.Thought I'd drop this off right here.
Runts the candy company lawyers might have been threating to sue him maybe who knows good question tho !Well here is my pack with no Detroit Runtz in it.
With your label I don't understand how that is a Runtz BX. Doesn't Runtz have to be one of the strains in the cross to be a bx? That label has both parents as crosses of Runtz but I thought one of the parents need to be the regular Runtz for it to be a BX. The pack I got from the first drop was Runtz x Forbidden Runtz which makes more sense. Someone please correct me if I am wrong on this.
It's also a little weird to me that he would change the bx. I thought he said he was doing two drops. I bought mine in the first drop. I wonder why he would change the bx on the second drop that was only like a month or two after the first one and he didn't mention anything about it changing from what I remember. Something seems a little strange here.

Well I disagree lol. Tiki got backlash when he released the Jealousy stuff but he didn't care and released it a second time. I'd have a hard time believing that he gave into a backlash from Runtz if he didn't from the jealousy drops. He releases bx of others people's work (mostly Seed Junky) all the time so he doesn't seem scared of a backlash.Runtz = Zkittlez x Gelatto 33 (Clone)
Detroit Runtz = (Runtz x Pancakes)
Tiki dropped the first Runtz BX
Tiki redropped the Runtz Power pack with correct label after backlash
A BX can still be achieved with to Hybrids tho... It just takes time and a lot representation in the progeny but I'm certain a quality BX can be achieve with hybrids of the parent. And time as in months to years lol Unless you are one lucky SOB and you find the representation of the parents in small selection of F2s... So it is possible
All my opinion tho so take it how you may.

Detroit Runtz is also not Runtz bx, those are two different strains, I have both of them from Tiki and they are not the same. It doesn't make sense that you are saying that he put the correct label on the second drop. If anything the first drop sounds like the correct label because to be a bx of something that strain has to be at least one of the parents lol. A correct bx would not have two crosses as the parents, granted you would probably still find a lot of Runtz dom phenos in there. It's unlikely that he would be calling something a bx if it is not actually a bx.
Personally I think he just made a mistake in the labeling because a lot of the drops come with free packs and he may have just mixed up the labeling.
I have also bought many bxs from Tiki and every single one of them has the strain that he is bx-ing listed as the mother in the cross. If this is not the case for the Runtz then it would be the first time that he has done it different that I know of. Since the first drop has Runtz as the mother, and Runtz needs to be in there somewhere to be a bx I would have to assume that the first drop has the correct label more than likely.
Either way if someone cares this much just ask him on IG and you'll know for sure. I've talked to him before on there and he seems like a real good dude and would answer truthfully no problem.
Like I said, the labeling was probably wrong lol. No Detroit Runtz in the bx. And I only mentioned the Detroit Runtz being different cause I thought you mentioned it was "his" version of Runtz before you edited your post, doesn't really matter either way though.Or some made a huge mistake with the labeling lol which I highly doubt.
I actually asked tiki personally on ig when I bought the runtz bx and asked if it had detroit runtz in it and he actually said he was a typo and a mess up by his staff when he wasnt there. So if ur wondering. Runtz bx is just runtz and forbidden runtz. No detroit. I was hoping for it to be true once I saw how sweet those detroit runtz looked but when i asked him that's what he told me.Thats all nice stuff but 1. Never did I say Detroit Runtz is Runtz BX, not sure where you came up with that but nevertheless the question proposed was does the Tiki madman Runtz BX have Detroit Runtz in the cross. And the answer is yes it may, just depends on which drop you copped. Or some made a huge mistake with the labeling lol which I highly doubt. The labels were either changed or mislabeled. Whether Tiki cares about backlash, well frankly matters not to me just merely stating the fact and why I think the labels were changed for the same strain.
As far as back crossing is concerned
As defined, Backcrossing is a crossing of a hybrid with one of its parents or an individual genetically similar to its parent, to achieve offspring with a genetic identity closer to that of the parent.
Not saying my opinion is absolute but my experience has showed that successful backcrossing can be achieve with hybrids of the parents.
