Ok, so I have been vegging under 24 hrs of t-5 light for a few months, now I have to get a timer, that's Dum Dum proof. Need a good timer that is fool proof and extremely easy to use, had bad experience with one in past. Also does HD or wally world have timers that work?? Also what is the best time to set- up ur 12/12 shedule for security reasons,?

Don't get the ones from home depot/lowes if ur using hid lights. They don't work, found that out myself. Not sure of name but I get mine from local hydro shop. Only few bucks more then home depot one and its digital!

I have my lights come on in the morning and off at night to match my schedule. I use "only" timers rated for outdoor use. Never had a problem for years. Most of the cheap ones are only rated for small appliances like lamps and coffee makers.
