This is what I did. It took about 10 min, some glue, and a snip. Super easy to turn your 24/hour timer into a a repeat cycle timer. Now it runs 5:00-min OFF and 1:40-min ON3. You can reorganise some of the plastic cogs in a 24h timer to make it run in 50 second blocks: http://hackaday.com/2011/09/09/repeat-timer-hacked-for-35-minute-hydroponic-cycles/ - approx $5-$7

I have the wall mount as well. I didn't realize I linked to the plug box.I prefer the wall mount version with a cord.

These things are great if a person also has a pair of HID lights to control (Sunlight Supply has the same thing with different graphics): http://growershouse.com/autopilot-master-digital-timer-mdt
Or maybe a pump spraying misters.OK, now I'm curious! Why do you want your timer to run at 5 min. off - 2 min. on, over and over again? I'm guessing it's controlling a fan.

Hey Helmutt! Why you hitting your head against the wall? Was there something wrong with Mango's statement? I know you hate to be questioned but just gotta ask what would cause you such self harmThis dude

I bought a pair of those just for my new ebb-and-flow systems. Mapito is a three day cycle (which doesn't fit on a seven-day timer).
- Recycling on/off range - 1 second to 96 hours. This is what sold me.
