I recently germinated a bunch of bagseed, mids seeds that I got for free, to attempt a grow in a grow box I designed myself. The first grow went very bad as the ventilation system I rigged together failed and left my plants to burn to death all night. The next grow, I was dumb as hell and sprayed the plants w water during the light cycle and ripped out all of the water. The third, and present one, is going well...
I CANNOT POST PICTURES SO PLEASE, I will describe the plants issue to the smallest detail in order to get some good advice w what I got...
My sprouts are looking weird, theyre purple. Not a deep purple haze or food coloring purple, but also like tiny blotches of purple on the new growth and fan leaves. I am NOT using any nutes atm for they are only about 1 week (newest) and 3 week (oldest) I will begin using nutes at 4 weeks.
Here is my main issue - Although the sprouts are purple fogged, they are growing fine so I am not worried - it could be a phase and or a deficiency that will be corrected in a couple days. My main issue is about my oldest plant, 3-4 weeks old. This plant never turned purple like the others and looks VERY healthy - BUT the entire plant is drooping and curling up. I know the first thing your thinking is "stop watering it" , I already did - I gave it over 5 days of dry soil and there is no progress to be reported. The plant is very small, almost looks dwarfed ( Im growing using CFLs so it wont grow tall quickly, the lights are an inch from the plant ). When I take it out and examine it, the plants looks SO HEALTHY - theres no yellowing, no dead spots - but the leaves are curling. To best describe what it looks like without a picture, hold your hand infront of you and drop your wrist like a gay dude - The way your finger tips fall down and curl is exactly how the plant looks in a 360 degree look. The fan leaves touch the soil and only the newest growth is NOT drooping.
Could this be a nute deficiency? I KNOW it cant be over watering, and it cant be OVER nutes because I am not using them... Any ideas?
I am going to TRY to get a digital cam and get a pic of this, but I am not sure if I can get one.
