Tiny white hoppy fleas

ok, I've got these tiny white hoppy bugs.They sit on the surface of my tank. Plant itself seems ok, 4 weeks in flower, nice buds. Just trying to identify these things. They seem to like to huddle together on the surface in clumps - which makes them easy to scoop out. They also cling to the side of the tank. I have also noticed that they can jump really high. After scooping some out, I waslooking at them and they popped in the air really high.
Any ideas, greatly appreciated.

What u have described soundes like whitefly. Google it and see. Soft bodied insects are best treated w soap and water spray. Its safe. The bugs breathe through their skin so if u clog that process...bugs dead. Good kuck.

if they are on the water surface it sounds like springtails. they are relatively harmless

Hoppy surface dwelling critters are usually springtails.

Unsightly but generally unharfmful.
