Tiny window plant. Will it work?

This is my first INDOOR plant I'm attempting.

I want to grow a plant that is small enough to grow in a window. The area gets plenty of light during the day. This is more of an experiment than a serious grow so if yield is fairly low it's not a problem. The only problem is, I'm not sure how to keep it small. Would keeping it in a small pot help any?

Any ideas or suggestions would be great.

a small pot will keep it small but will stop growing after awhile if its too small,just do 12/12 from seed and if it get too tall lst it.my 12/12 from seed was like 17 inches or so at harvest with no training on my first grow

If I 12/12 from seed, won't it induce flowering too soon?

Too soon for what?
