My advice is try a different kush strain if your wanting a kush.
I like violator kush and a few others but OG no thanks had a free OG kush seed it was real shit so much so I tossed it in the trash, in years of growing I think thats the first plant I've ever tossed in the trash that was in late flowering.. OG was shit and I needed the space for my other plants.

The REAL og kush is awesome smoke. There are a lot of fakes.

Tips for growing, pretty much the same deal as other strains. Don't harvest too early or you will say it sucks.

Is it an OG ? ( I know that's a deep subject). I want to hear more about. I've read a lot of good about it then here other things to. I'm going to be running RP's OG 18 but now Im not sure about it. Might put it on the back burner and get some other OG clones from progressive options. Smoked some louiexii the other day and it was good. I've been wanting to do Tahoe and SFV too. They all so have the Abusive OG. I have a LA confidential going right now and have some RP headband and skywalker seeds. I'm looking for that lemony musty OG thing.

I have 2 of kushs and I can't imagine anyone hating thus strand. It smells and taste are very lemony pine sol and super sticky buds.my one recommendation would be top the he'll out of her and try not to let her get so lankey.

I actually have one in flower right now same age as a master kush and the master kush looks way more developed so i know what u mean w/ late flowering.

I Lst by the way. The "og" grows nuts from what i can tell. I got 5 in dirt, hopefully everything goes well. Smokes very good w/ a sweet taste. Lasting high. Lightgreen/dark nugs. Almost like a skunk/fruity smell

Try Skywalker OG Kush

You WILL be happy. I ended up tossing mine out very early so I wasn't upset. Only because I wanted to do 1 plant at a time this time around and it stunted before of various problems. (Light issues, dropped it twice when it was a seedling, and burned it with the shell on as a seedling)

BUT

I did get a nice 1/8th from a friend who grew it, probably in my top 5 best ever smoke.

I've grown a half-dozen "kushes" over the years. My fave was Burmese Kush from T H Seeds. I FIM them at 3-4 weeks in veg and start flowering when they hit 20-24 inches. That's about 5 weeks for seedlings and 3-4 weeks for the clones to reach 20+ inches. Pistils start turning in week 3 of flowering and by week 6 you will think you are ready for harvest. But give her another week to finish and you will be glad you waited. This strain is also easy to clone with roots usually visible at day 8 in the domes. Good luck, BigSteve.

Hey man, I'm on my second grow but I figured I'd throw out my feedback since I'm almost finished with my og kush from hso.

I have read that ogs are lanky, which I thought sounded strange for a kush (since Kush's are generally indica? Correct me if in wrong). My plant definitely has an indica phenotype; short and bushy. BUT, it really does have someone of a "lankiness" to it. Mine has toooons of branches on it-- the branches can stretch so much that branches and tops almost seem to top themselves. I rimmed mine at the 6-7 node, and let it veg for almost two months (since I heard it was not that great of a yielder) and it just got wild:

But yeah, other than that, it realllly likes to soak up the nutes. I use organic nutrients (roots organics by aurora) for my soil grows and I thought I was burning my plants up, but turns out it was becoming deficient. I basically had to almost double my feeding to get it back to health and she is taking every bit of it.

Good luck on your grow man, hope my experience helps. She's pretty good with drought resistance, as well, which I guess is also a kush thing. My bubba kush in my first run was like a fucking cactus, I probably could've watered that thing once in veg and twice in flower lol. Anyways, good luck man.
