Tips for safer grow room

It's been 5 years since I've last grown indoors and I can't wait to begin again in 2022. During my years of growing I've nailed too many reflectors (corners!) with my head to count. I've had bulbs explode and while in the room. Sliced my hand and required stitches due to clogged sprayer nozzle and a razor.

I've been lucky with spraying and not getting zapped.

Most of the injuries could've been avoided with better attention to detail.

My biggest concerns of growing inside is the daily exposure to the lights and emf.

Ive recovered from basal cell carcinoma (skin cancer) and wondering if people wear hats, sunglasses, long sleeve shirts for protection while under the lights.

Most LEDs don't have any UV light, so no. A fire extinguisher is highly recommended..

I don’t spend much time under my lights. But I do dim them down when I’m in their.
I do run a uvb bulb. So I stay out when it’s on for its short cycles

One of these days I'm going to add a second dimmer with a switch to select between the two, one dimmer for normal operation and the second for working in the tent.

I only go in with my big goofy method seven glasses to turn off the lights and put work lights on. I run Hortilux(with UV) and HLG and that shit is scary.

Switching to LED considerably lessened my grow room fire fears. Anyone who's had an HPS bulb blow knows what's up.
