tips on fast drying??

You can put it in the oven on some tin foil, at a very low temp. Stick it in there for a few minutes, then flip it over for a few more min. Keep doing this until its a tad crispy and it'll smoke. It's gonna be harsh as shit and taste like hell, but if it flowered long enough, it'll get ya high. The longer it cures, the taste and potency will get even better. Good luck man, and happy smoking!!
agreed^^^you can take bud chop a bit to thoroughly dry, throw in a loaf pan on warm 170 farenheit for 20-30min and..voila! i just do to sample tho..taste, potency comes with cure..also bud in envelope on top of ballast..bud in colander on top of light..tho takes a whole day to dry

OMG!!! Can you say suck ass taste..no offense people, but damn!!! hang that shit in a dark cool closet with a slight breeze from a small fan, and wait till stems are cracky but not snapping, and then put it in a mason jar and burp daily until done...Why waste the time growing it, if you're not gona cure it right??? WOW!!!
agreed, but that was not the question..i'm willing to bet however, EVERY grower at some point has done a quick dry and if they say they didn't..I call BULLSHIT!!

Cut the bud into thin slices. Itll be dry within 24hrs.

Ok, I was a lil harsh, but it still took 5 days for some pop corn buds to dry right...lol..
View attachment 2598972 and talk to hotrodharley about how to dry quickly...he says (but I haven't tried)...put in tupperware container with 1 paper towel on bottom and 1 on top and nuke it for 20 - 30 sec at a time and check...when it starts getn dry moisten the bottom towel and nuke some more...he says it takes about 10 min...I still say a lil slower makes for some smoother smoke

worth a try if you want a sample asap! but no way in hell am I shooting microwaves into my pristine and delicate trichomes... seems brutal
I wonder if using a vap at a high temp will incinerate the wet bud and get ya higgghhhh... thoughts?

It may take a little bit longer to get the bud heated, but i cant think of any reason that that wouldn't work. Actually it seems like a pretty good idea, wonder why I've never thought of that.

I'm telling you.....cut into thin slices like potato chips. Leave in a low humidity area and you'll be smoking tomorrow. And surprisingly its not harsh as it was an all natural dry. This will let you know how you like your trichs.

Why cant you chop up the buds and sugar leaves and lay them out to dry?
I dont see how drying faster makes it taste worse. I can understand letting it cure after you dry it but why not dry them overnight in a dehydrator then do what you want with them be it use them or let them sit for weeks to cure?

Who the fuck wants to dry their weed quickly? It took all that time to veg and flower and now when you are so close you want lower quailty weed just because you are impatient? Dry 5-14 days, cure at least a week.

Why is weed the only plant that needs slow drying. EVERYTHING else from fruits to herbs to vegetables dry perfectly fnie overnight in a dehydrator.

If you were talking about fast-drying the whole plant, my tip would be DON'T. A proper dry/cure makes the most of your efforts. BUT...if you're looking to enjoy the fruits of your labors this weekend and want to just enjoy a little somethin' somethin' knowing that it's going to be nothing like the real end result...
Fold a paper towel in half, place a little fluffy popcorn bud in the middle and lay on a radiator for an hour. It'll be dry enough to smoke. And even THAT often tastes better than street weed. But it's just nothing like what you'll get after a 2-week dry and 6-week cure.
But why shouldn't you enjoy it? Have fun!
