To late to grow?

Hey guys I live in Virginia, I was wondering if you think a plant could survive outside temperatures are around 50-60 during the day and 40-45 at night?

I'll have to go with no....Most outdoor planting is done in the Spring. Thats almost all crops....If not all.

Virginia? You will have snow/ice/blizzards etc. to contend with.

Do your researching/location planning/etc. now before you plant. Know what/when/where/how you will do your thing outdoors....before you plant outdoors.. That time is now.

Look at some seed sites...I havent seen a strain that gets planted in mid November.

I don't know where you live in Virginia, but it's getting down to freezing in Richmond.
Lighting periods aren't ideal during the winter either.
Definitely not good growing conditions.
At this point I would say get some decent lights and do an indoor grow.

No for the reason the above poster mentions. Plus the amount of daylight would put your plants right into flowering. Spring is the correct time.

I am growing outside right now in Cali and its working fine...

I bring them in and put them under cfl as much as possible or if weather is poor.


No frost yet. I'm planning on just trimming off the nugs and letting the plant get nice and big for spring. If i did that would I get seeds in my bud the next time around?

depending on strain, sometimes plants take longer than others to ripen. august for early girls, and sept/oct/ even november to harvest.

if its your first grow so you will not get as much as a veteran grower will. Other than that to take into consider is stain, perfect soil, no pests, good weather conditions, etc, you could may come away with realistically 3-5 ounces per plant. if u get a good strain and do everything perfect, expert growers get over a lb per plant sometimes outdoors. so figure a qp per plant u will have 2 1/4lbs.

Jesus Christ, thats a lot maybe to much! (nah haha) Well I'll draw out a sketch of my plan and see what you guys think, it'll be a guerrilla grow.

im talking doing everything right. LOTS of light for them. and just making sure everything is right. keep doing your homework all winter. consider every factor. to get 9 females u will have to grow at least 18 plants. unless u get fem seeds or clones. just some things to take into consideration.
