hi
ive used canna now for over 5 years and had plenty exp with pk13/14, but there so much miss info out there on how to use it it becomes a big minefield doing any research. but here what i found with it.
first of all. like above. you're better of trying to dial in the best time to give it youre self with trail and error even canna themselves pulled all the bottles back in and had to change the back label on how to use. tbh they dont now them self's.

youre plant will have a 10 day sweet spot/ window period . between wekks 3(more then end) and 6 on most 8 week stains. each strain can vary when this window is. this window were the sweet spot is will last about 4 to 10 days.

i found to make sure you hit this window is to feed after the stretch is finished and when you start to see youre early flowers/nugs starting to wrap around round youre plant/branch. just as the nugs start to link together. that the best way to spot the window.

as for how to feed . wow once again so many different way and so many different ways that have had success and failed. u can feed from weeks 3 to 6 or to the end with every feeding. feed low and biuld up then back down. also emend youre ec to for the pk13/14 as it will send you're ec up and can very very easy burn youre plants. some feed tuill the see tip burn ect and back of and work back down.
i feed in coco 2 or 3 times a week from end of week 3 till end of week 6. this works for me also i feed very low only 50 to 100 ppms. as by this time your coco buffers say youre potassium buffer is already established if u been feeding correctly and should with a well maintained ec level be enough to support even heavy feeders, wich ive grown and not used with good results but all im doing is keeping these buffers topped up. but if did take a few grows to dail in tbh

you can try to dial in the sweet spot and just feed for that 4 to 1o days but this can be a pian. easy if you have some good exp with youre strain and medium but if u use it try feeding through week 3 and 6 but be steady and feed very lightly and this stuuf can do damage if abused.

watch out for moisture stress as i get slight cupping every-time i use it. as one of the things it does its tricks the plant into thinking its dry season. which tricks the plant in panic flowering. if u do get tip burn or signs of over fert back straight of as pk in abundance will cause locks out in crucial times in flowering.

This product is only beneficial if your base isn't currently supplying enough P and K. Try and shoot for 'balanced' feedings as these highly incomplete bloom boosters will not keep your leaves intact and without leaves, you wont grow flowers.

PK boosters are one of the few additives that can make a noticeable difference. You can run a base nute and hit with a PK supplement in flowering. GH's kool bloom is pretty solid. You can also go straight to the source and just use monopotassium phosphate. It's what most bloom boosters are based on.

Homebrewer makes a good point though. Keeping your plant green and healthy is the most important thing. But once you've got that down, hitting with a pk booster can fatten up those nugs

While I haven't used Canna's products myself, I completely agree with Homebrewer. In the past I used to run a high N formula in veg and switch to high PK during flowering, but lately I've been seeing better results using organics and keeping a single ratio across the board (e.g. 4-4-4 in my case) for all phases of growth.

What really drive the point home was this year's crop. The heat wave did a number on my plants and while mulch and soaker hoses helped tremendously, I couldn't help but notice that my organic crops did a lot better than those being fed cannabis specific nutrients. Even plants treated with amino acids and RO water didn't perform better under stress than those given a more balanced and natural diet.

Last grow I switched from DM Gold line to Hydro-Research VEG+BLOOM. It's a one step dry nutrient. As you increase the ppms (between starter seeds and flowering) the PK automatically increases, without imbalancing the PK ratios
