To Transplant Or Not To Transplant ???

Hello fellow growers,
I am at the tail end of week 3 and wondering if it's time to transplant ...?...
Can you check out the pictures and determine if I should or shouldn't transplant. A good friend long time grower doesn't think so...she says wait another two or three weeks. I'm seeking a second option because it looks like the growth has slowed down this week but it could be just me because I check on them daily. (Ps. This is a indoor grow obviously lol )

When the leaves are larger than the container they are in its time. I was just were you were 7 weeks ago... Started in solo cups, went to 1 gal to 3 gal to 5 gal bags as their final destination. I saw HUGE growth when I potted up. I was also using FFOF which is pretty nute rich.

I'd pot to a 1 gal... get em nice and beefy... when the leaves cover that pot go to your final pot size.

Wait a sec, are you the guy growing in a micro setting like 2 feet of headroom space? If thats the case just go to your final pot size.

also, see if you can drop your light down a bit... getting a little stretchy...

FYI when you pot up you can bury those lengthy stems basically to the first nodes.. leave a little room like an inch, roots will form when they are in the soil and you'll have a fatter, squattier plant.

Perlite too.. your soil looks pretty solid... those roots need oxygen and time to dry out... grab a bag of perlite (make sure its just perlite and no nutes) and mix in like 25 percent to your soil. Sorry for all the responses I'm a little

It's all good I appreciate any advice
Im pretty new to growing so I'm bound to make mistakes on the way however... I transplanted into the final bucket (5Gallon) under 300 LED's (9000 lumes)
24" away from top of plant. I used " Canada's version" of FFOF ( Pro-Mix Premium Organic Vegetables & Herb ) Also, small air purifier, 12" fan. Sealed in the closet covered in " space blankets " for its refelective features.

Do you think this is good enough for now ? I included a picture.

Yeah you should be fine... Getting another light in there would be helpful if you can afford it... Also I found with my 600w leds you can go a bit closer than 24" put it at 20" and let em grow to the light... Your PAR readings are better at 20" than 24"...
Make sure your "sealed" space has some air turnover... Remember plants need co2 to grow so a totally sealed cabinet isn't ideal.

Also. I'm assuming you drilled the bottom of those buckets with tons of holes right? I'd even put a few on the sides to allow for more air to the roots... Make sure you have drainage taken care of or you get root rot and dead plants.

Careful not to overwater in those new big pots.
