to wet trim or to dry trim also what trimming sicssors do you like

I'm thinking of buying some trimming scissors i like the look of the gro1 range also the fiskars but are a bit pricey i normally use a pair of old scissor but there not giving me the look i want the end bud to look like

    • also do you like to dry or wet trim?

wet trimming is way easier and the fiskars are good but having that slight upward bend is nice too your choice anything will be better than what you are useing

I have those curved ones. Only have trimmed one plant with them but those curved blades are nice for getting in really close. I've never trimmed dry. Seems to be the largest pain in the ass(as if trimming already wasn't lol)

Why wet. This is a new idea for me.

I got the Fiskars at home de-pot for 10 bucks, so thats what I got.

I wet trim with the Fiskars. $11 at home depot.. I picked up a pair of Black & Decker scissors that look just like the Fiskars at a store called Tuesday Morning for $6.. Haven't tried them out, yet.. I like to have an extra pair on hand just in case someone wants to help trim !!!!!!!

thanks guys the gro1 comes in curved and straight blade will also take a look at them micro trimmers as well i used to dry trim but thinking of it now wet is much better because when their dry i tend to cut bits of the bud of by mistake

I also find sometimes that after you trim wet whats left of the leaves kind of shrinks and retracts almost disappearing when drying

I use Fiskars and trim wet. Did a little dry trimming once at it was more difficult, for me anyway. Always get an extra pair or two for when help is available.

Wet with Fiskars. There is something about sucking it up and getting it all done at one time.

Get some razor blades to scrape off the scissors as you cut. Scissor hash is your special treat after all the hard work!

We trim wet--- unless we get behind and they get wilty-- then we remove the fans only and remove all the branches from the main and wait till they are dry to trim (Much harder IMO)
I like the Curved pair-- I use the small sewing shears from Fiskars-- I like how they can get into the small spaces and avoid chopping off pistils.... We have a large pair of PVC cutters (Ratchet style) that work a dream for big stalks!!! And we just use a pair of Fiskars basic shears for removing branches... Draig uses a medium size pair of sewing shears- same brand, just bigger.

Wet..I like Fiskers. (except I keep bumping thelock). Suture scissors are good too.

Wet and Fiskars. Dry trimming sucks nuts, the crystals fly everywhere and some people sneeze like crazy because of it. Wet trim for me, especially for the big bastards.

I use fiskars and trim wet when I first chop but i trim everything myself so I'm dry trimming by the end the only up side to dry trimming is your hands don't get as sticky and your scissors don't get clogged but you do tend to snip off little pieces of bud
