First grow here and each of my plants have like 50 tops. I only topped once and lstd and defoiled. My problem is majority of them are thin and week. Feel like my buds will bend them to the ground. The actual main stems are thicker then a fat mans thumbs. Im in first week of flower. I vegged for 5 weeks. Will they get fatter to support the buds in the next couple weeks? Any advice, i know you want your plant bushy but i honestly think this is way too bushy blocking too much light. Im asuming having so many tops will mean i will have 1 gram colas. Any advice? Or thoughts?

Here is a pic after heavy defoil.20140821_005743.jpg

It's just free standing? No net or anything holding it up? If the answer is yes then you will have issues when she starts to add weight.

Yes definitely, immediately grab some supplies, place a Scrog net just over the top and get ready for work. You have so many tops that I think trying to tie all that would be a nightmare. It will grow a bit and hopefully right into your net. If you don't know what a Scrog is, learn, and watch videos.

yes definitely either make a net out of string or go buy some fencing, garden trellis or something. if you do that you will be glad you have so many tops! i think you will be surprised, 1 gram per cola would be only if something goes seriously wrong, id say u could expect a minimum of 2-3 gram per cola

Thanks guys. I didnt want to scrog it because im running aeroponics and the root tub is stacked on top of the nutrient resivour. Thought it would be too much of a pain because i have to move them frequently to clean and change nutes. Unfortunately in the pick your only seeing a quarter of my canopy so it will be lots of work tieing them all up. I definitely need to make some tweeks next go around. Hmmmmm... think scroging is out of the question for now. I started to run silica and definitely notice a huge difference in stem strength, hopefully that will help with support.

and most plants will get woody after the flip in order to support the flowers
if all else fails put a clothesline up over the plant and tie the buds up to it with fishing string or something it will just be your larger branches id worry about
