ok,,,so alotta peeps like too germinate there seeds,,throw em in a paper towel on a plate with enough water too keep em moist,,and wait till they see a tap root,,,then carefully transfer it from a plate to a small cup or pot to let it get growing,,,that seems like a lotta stress to a baby seedling to me,,man,,I have had pretty much a 100% success rate at bringing up a seedling by just plopping it in a small planter about a half inch under the soil,,or soilless medium,,and keeping it warm and very wet,,,by very wet I don't mean watering it persay,,just pre-soak your medium,,insert seed about a half inch and cover HoLE lightly,,keep a small spray bottle handy and keep your medium very moist,,and here's what I get in 3 days or less,,,a brand new Afghan Mafia seedling that is arising from the dirt in just 3 days that puts no stress on the lil baby and is already to get growing,,only awaiting a transplant when it outgrows the lil starter pot,,hope this helps anyone willing to just plug n play when it comes to starting a seedling the easy way:weed:

My first three plants were as you say..toss em in the medium and let them go. My second batch was with germination.
Both sets of plants are in flower at this point, but I have to say, the first three are the heartier of all the plants. I am going to start a new grow in two weeks. Will plant six seeds. three directly in soil, three germinated. Will be interesting to see who can handle my n00b abuse the best ;-)

Dont show the nute burn and varying other things a new grower does wrong. But the bag seed really is heartier and grown straight in soil.

Its probably 'cause the bag seed didn't fall victim to "new dad syndrome" and they got "less attention" while my purchased seed could have also used "less attention", ya know??
